if you live in one of the upcoming states that will hosting primaries, do you intend to vote in the democratic primaries? if so, will the race of the candidates sway you one way or the other as to how you will vote?

i live in georgia and our primary is on super tuesday (february 5th). i travel for my job and it is likely that i will not be in town on super tuesday, so i'm going out to vote on monday morning, january 28th. i will definitely be casting my vote for Barack Obama, not because of his policy/agenda, but more because of his conviction and optimistic approach to addressing the issues that affect this country.

i am happy to be able to vote for a Black man, but up until a year ago, i thought that i would be voting for hillary clinton! his candidacy transcends race and his message continues to resonate with me. i've also done a number of those "political quizzes" (here and here)... my politics always line up best with Barack Obama!
