Let's get this party hopping! Tell us a bit about yourself!
We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
Hi!
My name is Jessica and I'm addicted to my blog. Oh. And to the exclamation point. I can't seem to stop using it. It's a problem.
I have to darling daughters and the best husband in the world. And I love to tell the world about our exploits. Honest, it's not as boring as it sounds. Well. A least not me. And if it is, please don't tell me. I like to keep my rose tinted glasses fog free.
How about you?
Who are you and why do you blog?
I'm Rachel, 23 years old, and engaged. We don't have kids yet, but we're hoping for some, and as soon as we get into a place that allows pets... I'll be playing Mom to be husky and her "brood"... which consists of two male cats. I currently don't work, but do keep myself busy designing avatars, reading books and fan fiction, chatting with friends, organizing anything I can, and playing Everquest2. I also love to cook, and am just learning to edit podcasts for a fan fiction review site I like to visit.
I was not much a blogger until NaBloPoMo, when it became routine for me, and only miss days now when I don't have a choice.
Greetings! My name is Stacy and I've been blogging for 3 1/2 years. I actually started my blog as a way to connect with the "outside world" after accepting a job which put me in a virtual office at home. The whole experience has expanded and blossomed over the years...and I talk about a little bit of everything - television, school, (I'm an MBA student), suburban life, and my doggies.
I've gone through a lot of blog ups and downs over the years. Some weeks I would post multiple times a day, and other times it was slower...I actually shut my blog down for several months while my husband was in Iraq. No matter what though, I always seem to come back.
I use the internet to prove to myself that there really are people in this world who can feed themselves and not call me Mommy all day long!! LOL i love my three sons; can't imagine living a moment without them. It's just not always easy to be at home all the time.
Actually, I do - two of my best girlfriends, I met through my blog! One other, I hung out with when she lived with Hawaii and we vacationed there, then again when she moved to Seattle.
Hello,
I'm Khurt. I am an application security analyst, web developer and Linux/UNIX/OS X/Perl/PHP/AJAX geek. Jack of all trades ( and master of none ). I work in security risk management for a large biopharma. I am also an amateur (idiot with a camera) photographer, father or two ( that's enough ) and a husband (she's incredible!) My blog, Island in the Net , is supposed to be about the above mentioned tech topics but I have a mind that jumps around and so does my main blog. I was diagnosed with Type 1 (auto-immune ) diabetes last summer and also blog about that ( Honey Sweet ).
I hope that things are going as well as can be expected with the diabetes. It is wonderful to have a happy marriage...and to say so. You sound very intelligent. I look forward to getting to know you.
