I'm back!

At least I hope so. :) The last few weeks (or maybe it's months) I have been consumed by my studies and lots of self reflection. For a while, I lost all desire to share my thoughts with everyone. I have decide to fight that weaker part of myself and push more toward growth and self-improvement. So depression be damned, I am moving forward.

As I have stated today in my blog, starting tomorrow (May 11th) I will be blogging with no reservations.

Just wanting to say Hello to everyone

Hi, my name is Angie.

I just turned 40, and still haven't figured out what all the fuss is about. My life has changed a lot in the last year though. In May my mother was diagnosed with cancer so I moved from South Dakota to Missouri to help take care of her. Once I got resettled in Missouri I decided to return to college.

The best advice I've heard on how to get a song out of your head (Ma na ma na/phenomena included) is to sing a Queen song - any Queen song. Strange, but it works!

Good luck on the school front! I'll be returning later this year. Right now, I'm studying for the CLEP exams to finish up my AA. Next stop, three years of classes to become a teacher.
